These charming tea caddies represent one of the most collected forms of caddy. Unmistakenly Tundridgeware, these delicate little boxes have all the features of late 19th century pieces by Nye or Barton. From the gently canted base adorned with exotic sample woods such as Ebony,Yew,Pear and Maple to the tiny tumbling blocks pattern on the top. The crossbandings are all hand made and of particulaer note is the Greek key inlay round the base. The interior is composed of 3 foil lined compartments for the tea and Boxwood lipping.
Measureing just 30mm accross each caddy contains in excess of 350 individual pieces of inlay
