The central part of the cabinet is composed of 12 dovetailed oak drawers around a central cupboard containing a further 3 drawers and pigeon holes. The secret compartment is released with a delicate spring mechanism. The floral marquetry over its whole surface is boardered with chequer stringing and every drawer has its unique marquetry panel.
