Inspired by Highboy's of the Queen Anne period this example is delicately inlaid with acanthas marquetry to the front. 

Composed of 9 dovetailed oak lined drawers the Highboy is veneered in honey coloured Murtle carefully bookmatched to give the piece balance, the marquetry is sand shaded (a technique where each piece is dipped in hot sand and scorched) giving a 3 dimensional quality. The reverse cup legs and ground floor stretcher are a great feature of the period.
